Regional characteristics of change in the "electoral weights" of candidate assets in elections based on the majority system
Article Abstract:
Classification and evaluation of the major assets of the political candidates who won in the two elections to the Ukrainian Supreme Rada (Parliament) in campaigns in single-mandate constituencies is done. The general tendencies and regional characteristics in the relative value of assets are presented, using the structural principle underlying the majority system as a basis.

Many individuals in Ukraine are wealthier than their state, and the gap between rich and poor in this nation is one of the world's greatest. Over half the population exists at the poverty line, and economic level is the central element in determining social status.
