Sexual abuse survivors' perceptions of the effectiveness of EMDR and eclectic therapy
Article Abstract:
The survivor perspectives of the effectiveness of two different treatments such as Eye movement Desensitization and reprocessing and eclectic therapy for trauma symptoms among adult female survivors childhood sexual abuse is investigated. There is considerable difference between the two treatment groups in terms of the importance and effect of the client-therapist relationship.

Adolescent substance abuse treatment: A synthesis of controlled evaluations
Article Abstract:
A synthesis was conducted to assess outcome findings and methodological characteristics of controlled evaluations of adolescent substance abuse treatments. Findings suggest that multidimensional family therapy and cognitive behavioral group treatment received the highest level of evidentiary support.

Further validation of the cognitions and behaviors scale using a clinical sample of adult female survivors of childhood sexual abuse
Article Abstract:
Cognitions and Behaviors Scale (CABS) can be validly and reliably used in a clinical setting with adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. To further assess its test-retest reliability and its efficacy as an outcome measure additional data should be obtained.
